Doris Williamson Horseman Jones' Obituary
Doris Williamson Horseman Jones passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at her home in Delmar, Maryland. She was 66.
She was born on November 28, 1946 in Concord, Maryland, the daughter of the late George Henry Williamson and Cordelia Clevenger Williamson.
She served as Vice President of G & C Electric in Salisbury, Maryland. Later
she worked as a waitress and later was the owner operator of Paesch’s Place in Sharptown, Maryland.
Doris loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, her craft projects, traveling and sightseeing and loved older television sitcoms. She was a member of the Sharptown American Legion post 218.
She is survived by two daughters, Vickie L. Lokey and her husband Eric of Sharptown, MD, Audrey E. King and her husband Randal of Delmar, MD, a son, Jason P. Horseman and his wife Samantha of Bivalve, MD, Seven brothers, Melvin Williamson and his wife Eva of Williamsburg, MD, George Williamson, Jr, and his wife Betty Lee of Williamsburg, MD, Gene Williamson and his companion Lisa of Hurlock, Ernest “Butch” Williamson and his wife Dottie of Federalsburg, Dale Williamson and his companion Louanne of Bridgeville, DE, Johnny Williamson and his wife Debbie of Federalsburg, David Williamson of Galestown, MD, three sisters, Norma L. Jones of Coldwater, MS, Betty Graham and her husband Boyce of Coldwater, MS, and Donna Crews and her husband Keith of Mardela, MD, nine grandchildren; Robert V. Horseman, Jessica H. Plugge, Matthew N. Horseman, Randal V. King, Jr., Zachary S. King, Christopher G. King, Samantha M. King, Kendall C. Horseman, and Camryn K. Horseman; four great grandchildren; Alexis King, Jolynn Eidman, Alexis Eidman and Zoey King; a special sister-in-law, Kathy Williamson of Seaford, DE, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert V. Horseman and two sisters, Virginia Tull and Mary Jane Pollard.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 1:00 at the Framptom Funeral Home, P.A. in Federalsburg with the Reverend Elaine Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in Bloomery Cemetery near Smithville. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 1:00.
