Doris M. Smith from Seaford, DE passed away on January 18, 2019 in Prattville, AL after a long battle with dementia. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence (Bill) Smith, sons William (Billy) Smith and Gary Smith as well as a grandson, Troy Smith all from Federalsburg, MD. She was also preceded in death by sisters Winifred (David) Kenton, Jeanette (Leslie) Lutz, Virginia Lee Beall (Eli Collins) and Nancy (Earl) Trego as well as her brother John Medford. She is survived by her son Ron (Suzanne) Medford from Bethesda, MD, daughter Violet (Thomas) Tengman from Prattville, AL, daughter-in-law Carol Smith from Federalsburg, MD and a sister, Betty Williams from Easton, MD. She is also survived by grandchildren, Eric (Amy) Smith, David Tengman and Tara (Kevin) Vest from Alabama. In addition, she is survived by many nieces and nephews as well as numerous great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at 11am with Pastor Marie Coulbourne officiating at Hillcrest Cemetery in Federalsburg, MD.
