Earl Eugene Frase's Obituary
Earl Eugene Frase of Preston, passed away at Memorial Hospital in Easton on Friday, January 11, 2013. He was 73.
He was born on September 27, 1939 in Preston, Maryland son of the late Fredrick William Frase and Anna Bessie Eberhard Frase. He graduated from Preston High School class of 1957. He served his country in the United States Army. Earl had worked for RCA in New Jersey and locally had worked for Gerardi Brothers and Sears. He enjoyed making wooden wagons, horses, and people decorations. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Judith “Judy” C. Hobby Frase whom he married June 9, 1962, three brothers, Edward F. Frase of Easton, William A. Frase of Long View, Washington, Leroy M. Frase, Sr. of Preston, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sons, Scott Peter Frase and Shawn Earl Frase and a brother, Gustav Henry Frase. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg at 1 p.m. with Rev. Howard Dunn officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. and on Monday from 12-1 p.m. Interment will follow at Junior Order Cemetery in Preston. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105 or to Framptom Funeral Home, 216 North Main Street, Federalsburg, MD 21632 to defray funeral costs.
