Earthalene Palmer's Obituary
Earthalene G. Palmer, of Dover, DE passed away on Friday, October 7, 2016 at her home. She was 80.
She was born on December 16, 1935 in Hinesville, GA, the daughter of the late Jackson Green and Margaret Martin Humes. Her husband of 24 years, Frank Preston Palmer, Sr. preceded her in death on October 9, 1992.
Earthalene was a member of the Immanuel House of Praise in Seaford, DE and a former member of the Order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by a daughter, Gwendolyn M. Palmer of Dover, DE, five grandchildren, Shawn Decosta Palmer, Ajenene B. Palmer, Oshenka Taray Gordon,Tartenisha N. Robertson and Debra Washington, four sisters, Nettie Lee Hewlett, Lavenia Green, Jacquelyn Green, and Catherine Robert and a sister-in-law, Lillian Gosenell, and a Godson, Shawn Magee.
Besides her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a sister, Lottie Freeman and a brother Leon Phillip Green and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Immanuel House of Praise in Seaford, DE. Interment will follow at the Eastern Veterans Cemetery in Hurlock. A visitation will be held from 8:30 a.m.to 10:00 a.m. prior to the service.
