Eddie L. Gantt's Obituary
Eddie L. Gantt of Salisbury, MD departed this life on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Anchorage Nursing Home in Salisbury. He was 85.
He was born on January 15, 1925 in Glover, NC, the son of the late Jamison Gantt and Annie Tucker Gantt.
He had his own contracting business in which he was a supervisor for migrant workers. He was the father of the church at Faith Temple Ministries in Salisbury, Maryland.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Louise Ingram Gantt, a son, Leonard Gantt and his wife, Teri Collison Gantt of Preston, a daughter, Pastor Linda Colander and her husband, Bishop Rudy Colander of Salisbury, three granddaughters, Crystal Gantt of Seaford, DeSandra Gantt-Taylor and her husband, Gary of Salisbury, Tasha Simms of Cambridge, four great-grandchildren, three sisters, Lena Gantt, Martha Gantt, and Mary Gantt-Atkins, all of New York, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Junnie Gantt.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 12 noon at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with his daughter, Pastor Linda Colander officiating. Interment will follow at Federal Hill Cemetery in Federalsburg. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 11-12 on Saturday.
