Ed was a good man. We had many good laughs, and great conversation. He treated me like his own son. I just today learned of his death. Very sad day. A great man. R.I.P. My friend

Mr. Coughenour alway's came into the old Golden Coral ,I away's sat and talked to him,he would talk about his life all the time and of course his dog's. I will miss him. R.I.P. sir.

Eddie was an 'adopted uncle' to my two sons. He watched them grow from boys to young men and we also looked forward to seeing him at various get-togethers and barbecues. He was a memorbale person in our lives and will be sorely missed,,,

I am so extremely sorry to hear about Ed's passing.
I remember a time when our family returned from Germany to be living in Florida.
During our stop over in NY we spent a few days with Ed and Elaine at their home.
Ed helped my husband in finding a car for us which we bought for our drive to Florida and kept it for the duration of our stay there until we returned to Germany. Elaine got mad that day when "the guys" went out to celebrate the purchase of that car.
Twice during my visits to DC in the interim was I able to manage a short visit with Ed, once in NJ and once in MD, however we stayed in touch by mail.
He will be surely missed.
