Edith E. Harding's Obituary
Edith Elizabeth Harding of Hurlock, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Mallard Bay in Cambridge. She was 89.
She was born on July 7, 1927 in Easton and was a daughter of the late Jullian Edgar, Sr. and Mable Edgar Lewis. On December 24, 1945, she married the late Alvin E. Harding, Sr., who preceded her in death on January 25,1998.
Edith was a homemaker most of her life and could often be seen helping her husband on their family farm. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and loved having her family over for dinner. Some of her favorite past times include traveling, knitting, and crocheting.
She is survived by two daughters Carol Bryan of Cambridge and Nancy Aaron of Hurlock; two sons Alvin Harding, Jr. and his wife Linda of East New Market and Stuart Harding and his wife Carolyn of Hurlock; six grandchildren Ronnie Bryan and his wife Trish, Dawn Bryan both of East New Market, Crystal Riley of Alexandria, VA, Ashley Aaron, Larry Aaron, Jr. both of Hurlock, and Julie Howard of Laurel; four great grandchildren Brenton Bryan, Aubrey Patchett, Robbie Howard and Kylie Jo Radcliffe; two sisters Betty Detwillard of Denton and Doris Edgar of Rehobeth Beach; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a daughter Jeannie Wilson, two son in law Ronald Bryan and Lewis Wilson, Sr., a grandson Lewis Wilson, Jr., a great grandson Ronnie Bryan, III and three siblings Jullian Edgar, Jr., Myrtle Milligan, and Marie Bradwell.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 1 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home with the Reverend Gordon Nock officiating. Interment will follow at Unity Washington Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
