Edith LaVerne Langford's Obituary
Edith LaVerne Kraft Langford passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2010 at her home in East New Market, Maryland. She was 80.
She was born on July 13, 1929 in Cambridge, Maryland the daughter of the late Theodore Kraft and Virgie Dunnock Kraft.
She was a lab technician at St. Frances Hospital Catholic Hospital, and later taught school for many years in the state of Delaware. She loved to garden, going out to eat, and bird watching. She was a member of the Delaware Retired Teachers Association.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas “Tim” Langford of East New Market, Maryland, a sister, Sally Jane Hessler and her husband, Edward of East New Market, two nieces, Donna Bailey and her husband Wayne of Federalsburg, and Brenda Era and her husband Harvey of East New Market, four great nieces, Angela Bailey, Rachael Bailey, Jessica Era and Julie Era, and two great nephews, Christopher Bailey and Stephen Era.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 2:00p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home, P.A. in Federalsburg with the Reverend Ruth Tull officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 on Thursday.
