Edward Keith Cannon's Obituary
Edward Keith Cannon of Bridgeville passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at his home. He was 73.
He was born on October 12, 1950 in Milford, DE, the son of the late Lester Edward Cannon and Elma Brasure Cannon.
In school he was a member of the band Lynx playing guitar. He also loved baseball playing first base. He attended the University of Delaware and received his Masters degree from Salisbury University.
He worked for the State of Delaware for most of his career in social work for child protective services. After his retirement, he worked for Dart Container in Federalsburg for a few years to keep busy - and he really enjoyed his time there.
In his free time, Ed enjoyed the outdoors. He would tinker about his yard, and also enjoyed spending time with his family and he loved his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years Sandy Cannon of Bridgeville, and two daughters Tracy Mascelli and her husband Richard of Milton and Amy Lott and her husband Ken of Camden; two grandchildren: Tyler Lott and Tanner Lott and one sister Rebecca Shierer and her husband Gary of Colorado Springs, CO, a step daughter Angela Seymore of Bridgeville, one surviving aunt- Betty Lee Layton of Greenwood and numerous cousins.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
