Edward Leroy Frech, Sr.'s Obituary
Edward Leroy Frech, Sr. of Denton passed away at his home on Thursday, June 27, 2024. He was 99 years old.
Born in Baltimore, Edward was the son of the late Clarence J. Frech and Mary Burkhart Frech.
As a young man, Edward joined the United States Army. While serving his country during World War II, he was a soldier at the Battle of the Bulge. He was a faithful Baltimore sports fan, cheering on the Orioles, Ravens, and the Colts before their relocation. Edward enjoyed boating on the Chesapeake Bay.
Edward is survived by his grandchildren: Jammie Barry (Peter) and Jeffrey Frech (Kelly); many special great-grandchildren: Becky Lane, Dana Frech, Laura Marsh, Heather Frech, Gracie Frech, Nathan Barry and Nolan Barry; and three great-great-grandchildren: Ava Bucco, Easton Marsh and Layla Marsh; and three siblings: Milton Frech, Virginia Lee Frech and Michael Frech. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine and his son Edward Leroy Frech, Jr.
Services for Edward will take place at the Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Hurlock on Wednesday, July 3 at 10:00 a.m.
