Edward Long's Obituary
Edward Lee Long of Federalsburg, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 12, 2006 at his residence. He was 60.
He was born Jan. 27, 1946 in Raleigh, NC, the son of the late Harvey Lee Long and Mary Magdalene Edwards Long Thomas.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving from 1965 to 1967 and was a truck driver for many years working for Mediquick and Mayflower. He was a member of First Church of God in Federalsburg.
He is survived by his wife Gloria Long, two daughters, Melissa Michaud of Seaford, DE and Rhonda Morgan of Federalsburg; two stepsons, Joseph Michael Morgan and David W. Morgan, both of Delmar, MD; a sister Lynette Todd of North Carolina and several brothers, and 12 grandchildren. A brother, Rodney Earle Long, Sr. preceded him in death in 2001.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2006 at 12:00 noon at the First Church of God in Federalsburg with Rev. Peter Smith officiating. Interment will follow at the Bloomery Cemetery.
