Edward James Tyler's Obituary
Edward James Tyler of Preston, MD passed away on Monday, Jan. 28, 2008 at his home. He was 75 years old.
He was born Aug. 1, 1932 in Robeson Co., NC, the son of the late Walter Ellis Tyler and Sally Jones Tyler.
He was a self-employed drywall contractor and attended Talbot Evangelistic Church in Easton. He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Jane Tyler, three daughters, Darlene Krauch and her husband Otis, of Selbyville, DE, Pam Ginneman of Brooklyn, MD, Robin Wooters and her husband Floyd, of Preston, a son, Edward James Tyler, II, of Preston; six grandchildren, Michael Renee Barnes, Travis James Tyler, Tomi Lynn Ginneman, Abbigail Elizabeth Tyler, Trew Spring Wooters, and McKinley Chase Wooters, two great-grandchildren, Travis J. Tyler, II, and Kelsey Morgan Tyler, and three step-children. He was one of 14 children and is also survived by five siblings, Ore Lee Hunt of Pembroke, NC, Maud Alice Locklear of Lumberton, NC, Belether Crowley of Glen Burnie, MD, Helen Bullard of Red Spring, NC, and Walter Roscoe Tyler of Preston, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb. 1, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Talbot Evangelistic Church in Easton with Rev. Derwin Lowe officiating. Interment will follow in Junior Order Cemetery in Preston. Friends may call at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg on Thursday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and at church from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
