Edward Lee Greenwood's Obituary
Edward Lee Greenwood of Smyrna, DE passed away on Tuesday,
Oct. 12, 2010 at BayHealth Medical Center in Milford, DE. He was
64 years old.
He was born Sept. 24, 1946 in Easton, MD the son of the late
Walter Lee Greenwood and Dorothy Marie Long Greenwood.
He served his country in the National Guard. He was a
Union Pipe Insulator and was a member of Local 24
International Assoc. of Heat and Frost Insulators and Asbestos
Workers for over 35 years. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 43 in Camden-Wyoming, and was also a
member of Centreville American Legion.
He is survived by a daughter Sheri L. Greenwood of Federalsburg,
three brothers Walter Richard Greenwood of Fruitland, MD,
Robert Leroy Greenwood of Cordova, MD and Milton Greenwood of
Centreville, MD, two sisters Brenda Joyce Jump of Felton, DE and
Bonnie Boyle of Queen Anne, MD, and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Little Eddie
Greenwood in 1978 and three brothers, Dale Greenwood, David
Greenwood and Danny Greenwood.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010 at 12:00 p.m.
At Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg, MD with Rev. Denzil Cheek
Officiating. Interment will follow in Chestnut Grove near Federalsburg.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Sat. from 10:00 – 12:00 p.m.
