Edwin Jones' Obituary
Edwin A. Jones died at Life Care at Lofland Park in Seaford, DE on Saturday, December 22, 2007 where he had been a patient for the past 3 years. He was 84.
He was born in Dorchester County near Eldorado, MD, on October 19, 1923 the son of the late Arcy and Ida Craig Jones. His wife Elva Ruark Jones also preceded him in death. He worked as an ingredient handler at General Foods in Dover for many years before retiring in February of 1986. He loved going to auctions and collecting antique glassware. He is survived by a sister, Gladys J. Dalious of Seaford, DE, two step-daughters, Joyce Clendaniel of Woodside, DE, and Patsy Smith of Delaware and a step-son Wayne Hill of Delaware, a nephew, Steven Matthews of Federalsburg and a niece, Sharon Porches of Woodland, DE. Funeral services for him will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at Framptom Funeral Home, P.A. in Federalsburg with Rev. Bonnie Shively officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Federalsburg. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from noon to 1:00 p.m.
