Elaine M. Kaz's Obituary
Elaine M. Kaz of St. Michaels died at Heartfields of Easton, on Saturday December 7, 2024. She was 76.
Born in Philadelphia, PA. on September 27, 1948 she was the daughter of the late Dale and Marjorie Henneberry Rose. Elaine grew up in Philadelphia and attended the John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls School in Philadelphia she graduated in 1966. Upon her graduation she worked at various jobs in PA; N.J. and NY. In 1986 she Married Joseph Kaz; in Philadelphia at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. They resided in Williamstown N.J., then Saratoga Springs N.Y. until 2013 when they moved to their retirement home in St. Michaels.
Elaine loved to dance, she even danced in competition Pro AM at the Meadowlands in N.J. where she received gold and silver awards. She was also the perfect entertainer she was most comfortable entertaining guest at her home with all of the elegance she could provide. Traveling was also a passion she and Joe had; and they traveled extensively to Italy many times.
In addition to her beloved husband Joe, Elaine is survived by her Sister; Karen Cook of Souderton, PA; a brother in law; Nicholas Kaz (Corinne) of Maple Shade, N.J. brother in law William Egner, Nieces; Katie Kaz, Monica Hunter (Gerald), Michele Cook, Joyce Leva, ; Nephews; Joshua Kaz, William Egner, III, also by numerous Great- Nieces and Nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister; Joyce Egner.
A mass of celebration will take place Monday, January 27, 2025 at the St. Michael's Mission Church at 10:30 a.m.
Burial will be private.
