Eleanor, what can I say. You were my best friend. We were so different when we first met. You helped me grow spiratually more than I could have ever imagined. We had great times together, thank you. Save a place for me!! I will keep an eye on your family and be there for them when they need me. Until we meet again.##imported-begin##Colleen Webster##imported-end##
My thoughts and prayers are with Eleanor's family. I worked with Eleanor at M&M Refrig. for a little over a year but in that short period of time, really felt blessed to know such a wonderful, strong and caring person. She was very special and I am very thankful to have had the opportunity to have known her.##imported-begin##Sherry Bradshaw##imported-end##
Some people remain on your mind for all the joy and kindness they give to others. Eleanor was that person. She was my age and a classmate.
One of the most fun stories I can recall was when Eleanor entered a WCAO contest. It was the only rock and roll radio station back in the 60s. Her name was announced over the airwaves to call the station within ten minutes. I think everyone in Federalsburg called Eleanor's house immediately to make sure she would not miss her chance of winning a prize. She did in fact make that call and won a red WCAO sweatshirt which she proudly wore to school. We were all in such awe that someone from Federaslburg could win something from a Baltimore radio station. But perhaps our expectations were not so high back then when times were much more simple.
I'm sorry I will be out of town this weekend. Many hugs and kisses to all of her family memebers.##imported-begin##E Dee Merriken Monnen##imported-end##
To the Bennett & Murphy Family,
My thoughts are prayers are with you during this difficult time.
The angels are always near to those who are grieving, to whisper to them that their loved ones are safe in the hand of God.##imported-begin##Dawn Hurley##imported-end##
Miss E it's hard to believe you are gone. The beach won't be the same without you. So many memories and laughs, I could write a book. I will try to keep the crew straight and behaved. You are probably laughing at that notion. I am glad you are with Mr. Bunky again. I hope you had mints in your pocket when you met him at the gates.##imported-begin##Bobby, Angel and Amelia Shumate##imported-end##
I was a graduating classmate of Eleanor's and she went with me to the Prom at Colonel Richardson High School. My thoughts and prayers are with her at this time and also with her family and friends.##imported-begin##William Glenn Usilton##imported-end##
