Elizabeth Ann (Edwards) Quick's Obituary
Elizabeth A. Quick St. Michaels, Elizabeth Ann Quick of St. Michaels, died at the Talbot Hospice House, Easton, on Wednesday April 13, 2016. Elizabeth was born on December 27, 1943 in Aberdare, Wales, U.K., she was educated in a Welsh Public School. In 1966 she married Michael Quick. They moved to Canada, then to the U.S. where they lived in Chicago, N.J. and finally settling in St. Michaels, where they have lived for the last 19 years. Elizabeth was a member of Christ Church, St. Michaels, where she served with the Bell Choir, in addition she was a member of the St. Michaels women’s club and the Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla, serving as Finance Officer. She also enjoyed playing bridge, and spent many happy hours volunteering at the St. Michaels Library. In addition to her husband Michael, Elizabeth is survived by a son; Paul (Kelly). A daughter; Katherine (Carlos) six grandchildren; Caroline, Evan, Douglas, Andrew, Ryan, and Dylan. Also survived by a brother; Martin (Elvi) and a brother-in-law Terry (Jill), all living in the U.K. The family would like to offer many thanks to, the Doctors, Nurses, volunteers and Staff at the many Medical Facilities that she attended for her treatment. Untold thanks must go to the staff at the Talbot Hospice Facility for their kindness and support. Behind every cloud there is a silver lining. Liz, and Mike's was to have her treatments done in Easton, MD. Services will be private. Memorial donations in Elizabeth’s memory may be made to the St. Michaels Library 106 Freemont ST.
