Elizabeth A. Ludwigsen
Easton, Elizabeth Ann Ludwigsen of Easton died at the Talbot Hospice House on Monday, March 11, 2013. She was 83. Born in Harrison, N.J. on March 9, 1930 she was the daughter of the late Louis and Ann Barry Lewis. Mrs. Ludwigsen spent her early years in Harrison, N.J. where she attended public school. On January 30, 1954 she married Arthur A. Ludwigsen, they continued to make their home in N.J. until the early 1970’s when the family purchased a farm in the Millington area of Kent Co. While Mr. Ludwigsen worked the family farm, Mrs. Ludwigsen worked as a clerk with the Kent Co Dept. of Social Services. In 1981 due to health reasons the family moved back to N.J. Mr. Ludwigsen died in 1983. In the early 2000’s Mrs. Ludwigsen moved to Easton, where she enjoyed playing bingo and going to the slots with her social group. She loved spending time, and caring for her family. Mrs. Ludwigsen was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Parish, Easton. Mrs. Ludwigsen is survived by her two children; Kristine Sarrafian and her husband Michael of PA. , and Arthur A. Ludwigsen and his wife Carol of Easton. Four grandsons; Michael Ludwigsen, David Ludwigsen, Eric Sarrafian, and Matthew Sarrafian. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 10:00AM Burial will be in the crumpton Cemetery, Crumpton MD. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the Talbot Hospice Foundation 586 Cynwood Drive, Easton, MD. 21601 Arrangements are by the Ostrowski Funeral Home, St. Michaels, MD.
