Elizabeth "Libby" Marie Ewing's Obituary
Elizabeth Marie “Libby” Ewing of Federalsburg, MD passed away on June 17, 2916 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was 91.
Born Aug. 9, 1924 in Queen Anne’s County, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Webster Wright and Annie Legg Wright. Her husband, Milton Greenley Ewing, preceded her in death in 1972.
Mrs. Ewing was a housewife and enjoyed her home, sewing and cooking. She attended the Easton Church of God.
She is survived by three sons Milton W Ewing and his wife Sharon, and Joseph W. Ewing all of Federalsburg, and James E. Ewing and his wife Marsha, of Seaford, DE; three sisters, Dorothy Richards of Preston, Sara Coulbourn of Harrington, DE and Martha Haddaway of Laurel, DE; two grandchildren Milton Ewing, Jr. and Elizabeth Marie Ewing; three step-grandchildren Shawn Hughes, Shannon Mancomson, and Scotti Manter; 17 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by 3 brothers Jimmy Wright, Bill “Candy Bear” Wright, and Edward “Hoss” Wright, and a grandson Timothy Lee Ewing
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home with Bishop Ray Parsons officiating. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery in Easton. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Compass Regional Hospice, 255 Comet Drive, Centreville, MD 21617.
