Elsie Hughes' Obituary
Elsie Mae Hughes, the daughter of Albert and Rosie Robinson. She was born on April 30, 1930.
Elsie was employed as line worker for the Caroline Chicken Factory for a number of years. She enjoyed various religious television shows, especially Jimmy Swaggart. She also enjoyed riding and could always be seen picking wildflowers.
She leaves in fond memories, one sister Rose M. Paige of Hurlock, MD, one aunt Annie Hubbard of Hurlock, MD, one daughter in law Joanne Hughes of Hurlock, MD, her grandchildren Rodney L. Hughes and his wife Britta of Texas, Tammy Prattis of East New Market, MD, Janika Nichole Hughes of Hurlock, MD, Lewis P. Dennis, Jr. of Boston, Mass., Anthony Bowens of Hurlock, MD, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, two children Randolph E. Hughes and Harold R. Hughes, two sisters Alice B. Lee and Mary C. Robinson, one brother Albert Robinson, Jr., one grandson James Franklin "Chuckie" Perry, and one step grandson Craig Antonio Williams.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 1 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg. Interment will follow at James R. Brisco Memorial Park in Cambridge. Family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
