Emma Baynard's Obituary
Emma Baynard of Federalsburg passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Brinton Woods in Denton. She was 83.
She was born in Easton, MD on September 9, 1934 the daughter of the late Emerson Baynard and Beatrice Baynard.
Emma had worked faithfully for Delaney's for over 30 years. She then worked for Roses Department Store in Denton and Seaford. She attended Park Lane Church of God in Federalsburg.
She enjoyed wrestling, basketball, and football. Emma especially liked watching Monday Night RAW and Tuesday Night Smackdown. Emma will remembered for her great sense of humor and how she enjoyed people and always living life to its fullest. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Emma is survived by three children, David Baynard (Francina Chisum) of Frederica, DE, Dora Baynard (Sammy Williams, Sr.) Bridgeville, Leslie Baynard (Laurel Palmer) of Cambridge, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Lester Baynard, Jr. and six brothers and sisters.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2017 from 10 a.m. - 12 noon at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg. Interment will be private at Federal Hill Cemetery in Federalsburg.
