Emma Mae McGlotten's Obituary
Emma Mae McGlotten, from Hurlock, was born on August 11,1922 to the late Ethel Washington and Robert Washington Sr. She was one of 9 siblings and 4 other sisters. Emma gracefully went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday January 15, 2018 without any suffering. She was 95 years young.
Emma attended the public schools in Caroline county.
Emma attended various churches and was a devoted disciple of Jesus Christ and always being faithful in whatever Ministry that she decided to attend.
Emma was a very pleasant woman, who was always joking with everyone. She drove around anywhere she wanted to go, until her health failed and she could no longer safely drive. She was still driving at the golden age of 93. She would do anything she could to help anyone and went out of her way to do it. Her generosity would sometimes cause hardship on her, but she kept right on smiling.
Emma was preceded in death by her 9 brothers, John and his twin, Charles, George, Joseph, Wallace and his twin, Randolph, and Robert, and her 3 sisters, Maggie, Margaret, and Helen.
She leaves to treasure all her memories her only sibling, Louise Dangerfield of Hurlock, Md.
Emma never birthed any children, but had many nieces and nephews that felt like her own.
Emma’s home going service will be on Friday evening, January 19, 2018 with a viewing at 5 pm and memorial service at 6pm, at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg, Md.
