Erma Christopher Boyle's Obituary
Erma Virginia Christopher Boyle of Preston, MD passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Caroline Nursing Home in Denton. She was 84 years old.
She was born on March 24, 1930 in Preston, the daughter of the late William Earl Christopher and Hazel Emily Hopkins Christopher.
She graduated from Preston High School. Erma was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-four years, John Boyle Sr., four children, Patsy (Patricia) Flaharty of Florida, John Boyles, Jr. of Easton, Eugene Boyles of New Orleans, LA, Dale Arthur Boyles of Bethlehem, eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, three sisters, Margaret “Peggy” Townsend of Pennsylvania, Edna “Bootsie” Christopher of Preston, and Rose Wheaton of Seaford, DE, a brother, Donald Christopher of Cambridge, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by seven siblings, Harold, Ronnie, Paul, Goldie, Phillip, Billy, & Roger Christopher.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Rev. Glenn Staehli, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Junior Order Cemetery in Preston. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 on Monday evening.
