Ethel L. ("Dolly") Moore's Obituary
Ethel L. Moore Easton, Ethel Lee “Dolly†Moore, formerly of St. Michaels, died at Heartfields of Easton, on Thursday July 16, 2015. She was 91. Born on March 13, 1924 in Pocomoke, City MD, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Iva Miller Moore. As a child, she and her family moved to the Riverdale, MD area. Miss Moore worked for the Federal Government as a Foreign Service Officer, a career that took her too many parts of the world. Following her retirement, she moved to St. Michaels in 1978. Miss Moore enjoyed reading, spending time with family and friends, and volunteering at the St. Michaels Branch of the Talbot Co Free Library. She is survived by her nieces and nephews; Marilyn Walsh of Fulton, MD; Sonny Cohee of Silver Spring, MD; Mark Cohee of Laurel, MD; Beverly Ward of Greenbelt, MD; Deborah Dever of Occoquan, VA; and Gail Oliverio of Beaumont, TX. A visitation will be held at the Ostrowski Funeral Home, 312 S. Talbot St., St. Michaels, MD on Wednesday July 22, 2015 from 4:00 to 6:00PM. Burial will be at Ft. Lincoln Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make donations in her memory to the Talbot Co Free Library, St. Michaels Branch, 106 Fremont St. St. Michaels, MD 21663.
