Ethel L. Hunt's Obituary
Ethel L. Hunt of Hurlock, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the Pines Genesis Eldercare in Easton, MD. She was 91.
She was born in Easton, MD on December 13, 1923 the daughter of the late Harry and Ruth Morris Bramble. Her husband, Samuel E. Hunt preceded her in death on March 23, 1973.
She was a hairdresser for many years at one time operating three different shops in Baltimore before moving to Preston, MD where she owned and operated her own shop on Sunset Avenue for 27 years. Ethel was one of the charter members of Faith Fellowship Church in Preston. She also had attended Bethlehem Wesleyan Church through the years.
She is survived by a son, Richard Wright of Greenwood, four grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, a brother: Harry Bramble, two sisters, Barbara Wagner and Faye Gadow all of Easton, and her special friend of thirty years, Chuck Boone of Hurlock, and several special nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Jean Ainsworth, Margaret Harrison, and a brother, Homer Bramble.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Bethlehem Wesleyan Church. Interment will follow in Jr. Order Cemetery in Preston. A visitation with the family will be from 12-1 on Saturday. Memorial contributions can be made to Faith Fellowship Church at 23714 Collins Road, Preston, MD 21655.
