Evelyn Darlene Bradshaw's Obituary
Evelyn Darlene Bradshaw of Tilghman Island, MD, passed away on Monday, July 2, 2018 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury, MD. She was 71.
She was born on September 25, 1946 in Easton, MD, the daughter of the late Percy Wilson (Booker) Scharch and Virginia Simmons Scharch.
She graduated from St. Michaels High School and married the love of her life, William Bradshaw. She was a bus driver for Talbot County Public Schools for 37 years.
A wonderful wife and mother, she enjoyed real estate, life on the bay, fishing, crabbing, music and dancing.
She is survived by her husband of over 50 years, William Bradshaw, her children, Greg Phillips (Pam), David Phillips (Ann), Mary Anne Arnold (Shane), and Kelly Collier (Francis), 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, her siblings, Johnny Scharch (Jacqueline), Barbara Murphy, Fritz Scharch (Eileen), her goddaughter Heather Chapman and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister Gloria Seymour and her husband Bunk, and a brother-in-law Norman Murphy.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 11am at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in St. Michaels, MD with Fred Barr officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made out to Coastal Hospice, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802.
