F. Carol English's Obituary
Frances Carol English of Hurlock, MD passed away on Sat. Sept 19, 2009 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 56 years old.
She was born Sept. 21, 1952 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Sanford Franklin English and Maggie Hughes English.
She was a graduate of North Dorchester High School class of 1970. She had been a faithful newspaper carrier of the Star Democrat for over 16 years being recognized as the best carrier they ever had. She also delivered the Daily Banner for over 4 years. She enjoyed traveling, was an avid fan of Elvis Presley, and dearly loved cats, especially a favorite named “Blackie”.
She is survived by 7 sisters, Betty Lofland of Federalsburg, Doris Franz and Mildred Short both of Hurlock, Anna Mae Patchett of Preston, Barbara Wharton of Federalsburg, Joyce Brown of Glen Burnie, and Linda English of Hurlock, one brother Franklin English of Federalsburg, many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by 3 siblings, Peggy Ann English, Marie English and William “Sonny” English.
Funeral services will be held on Wed. Sept 23, 2009 at 2:00 p.m at the Framptom Funeral Home with Rev. Karen Bongard officiating. Interment will follow in Unity-Washington Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wed. from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
