Florence Evelyn Bildstein's Obituary
Florence Evelyn Steenken Bildstein formerly of Harmony, MD passed away on Monday, Sept. 6, 2010 at Genesis ElderCare-The Pines in Easton, MD. She was 89 years old.
She was born April 17, 1921 in Preston, the daughter of the late Otto Steenken, Sr. and Emma Worm Steenken. Her husband Martin Bildstein, Jr. preceded her on Sept. 16, 1991.
She was a beloved wife and mother and a devoted homemaker, enjoying cooking, crocheting, knitting, and growing her own vegetables and flowers.
She is survived by two daughters Joan Motter of Gordonville, PA, and Linda Stevenson, and her
husband, Charles, of St. Michaels, a sister Minnie Fountain of Pennsville, NJ, many nieces,
nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and her special friend “Granddog Kramer”. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers, Gladys Klemowicz, Margaret McNeal, Herman Steenken and Otto Steeken, Jr.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010 at 12 Noon at the Framptom Funeral
Home with Rev. John Cahall officiating. Interment will follow in Junior Order Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 to 12:00 p.m.
