Frances Jackson's Obituary
Frances Marie Wright Jackson of Seaford, Delaware passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023 at TidalHealth Nanticoke Hospital in Seaford, DE. She was 78 years old.
She was born on July 10, 1944 in Seaford, DE, the daughter of the late Willie Wright, Sr., and Mary E. Cannon McCray.
Frances was married to Thomas Orville Jackson Sr., better known as "Sonny" for 53 years until his death on March 27, 2016.
She worked as a seamstress in Laurel, Delaware, Dulany Foods in Bridgeville, Delaware and Genesis Health Care in Seaford, Delaware as a dietician for 20+ years where she retired. She will be most remembered for being a Home Interiors & Gifts sales woman and the owner of the majority of their items.
Frances is survived by two children: Thomas O. Jackson Jr. of Laurel, Delaware and Jilda C. Jackson of Wallingford, Pennsylvania and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Beside her parents, she was also preceded in death by three brothers Russell Cannon, Willie Wright Jr. and Henry Lee Wright.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 11:00 at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 and again on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00. Burial in Federal Hill Cemetery. Share memories with the family at www.framptom.com
