Frances V. Quailes of Seaford, DE died at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE on Saturday, October 5, 2012. She was 93.
She was born at Williamsburg in Dorchester County on April 20, 1920 the daughter of the late Noah Jones and Hattie May McGlotten Jones. She was a homemaker and for the last several years she attended the Easter Seal Day Program in Georgetown, DE. She is survived by 10 children, Hattie Mae Savage of Cambridge, MD, David Quailes, Jr. and Vance R. Quailes, Sr. of Seaford, DE, Michael M. Quailes of Milford, DE, Ronald L. Jones of Easton, MD, Iris Quailes and Vanessa Jones of Hurlock, MD, Sylvia Quailes of Cambridge, MD, Lorraine Robinson of Federalsburg, MD and Cynthia Quailes of Hurlock, MD many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Ira Quailes, Reginald Quailes, Tyrone Quailes and Alfonza Quailes. Funeral services for her will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Calvary United Methodist Church in Preston, MD. Friends may call at the church on Saturday 1:00 to 2:00.
