Frances Leona (Sutphin) Willey's Obituary
Frances L. Willey Wittman, Frances L. Willey of Wittman, died at her home on Thursday, January 1, 2015. She was 88. Born in Pulaski, VA. on March 1, 1926 she was the daughter of the late Cleveland and Tilda Kemp Sutphin. She moved to Annapolis, at an early age and later to the Eastern shore. She married Earl Willey and they made their home and raised their family in Wittman Mr. Willey died on January 25, 2004. Mrs. Willey worked for many years at the Chesapeake House on Tilghman until retiring at 80 years old. She is survived by her children; Percy Aisquith, Rose Marie Cater, Gerald Aisqiuth, all of the Annapolis area, Doreen Gaultney, Brenda Shahan both of Tilghman, David Willey of Wittman, and Betty Bell of Easton, three sisters; Rose Buser, Margaret Stripmatter, Bernice Mansfield, two brothers; Wayne Sutphin and Albert Sutphin. Also survived by many Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by four siblings. A memorial service will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at the Ostrowski Funeral Home 312 S. Talbot St. St. Michaels. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Talbot Hospice Foundation, 586 Cynwood Drive, Easton, MD. 21601
