Frances Wooleyhand's Obituary
Frances Wooleyhand of Hurlock, MD passed away with her loved ones by her side on December 25, 2025 at the University of Maryland in Baltimore after a courage fight with cancer. She was 69.
The daughter of the late Robert and Cecelia (Harris) Williamson, she was born February 8, 1956 in Caroline County, MD.
Frances graduated from Colonel Richardson High School with the class of 1972. Frances met and married her husband John Wooleyhand, Sr. and they spent 55 loving years with one another. She was a hard worker, spending many years as a manager at local Uncle Willie's convenience stores.
Frances is survived by her husband John Wooleyhand, Sr.; her son John Wooleyhand, Jr.; her grandchildren: Angie Wooleyhand, Todd Wooleyhand, JJ Wooleyhand, III and Bryce Wooleyhand; her siblings: Robert Williamson, her sister Barbara Holcomb; her sister-in-law Dorothy Mae Wooters; and her nephews Wade Milliken, Robert Wooters, Kevin Wooters and Michael Wooters.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sisters: Shirley White and Fay Williamson and her nephew Justin White.
A funeral service will take place Wednesday, January 7, 2025 at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg at 1:00 p.m. Friends may visit prior to the service at 11:00 a.m. Burial at Bloomery Cemetery will follow the service.
