Frank Webb's Obituary
Frank H. Webb, Jr. of Greenwood passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Tidal Health at Nanticoke Hospital in Seaford, Deleware. He was 88.
He was born on September 15, 1937 in Salisbury, Maryland; the son of the late Frank H. Webb and Edith West Webb.
After graduating Bridgeville High school, Frank devoted nearly four decades of his life to General Foods in Dover, where he was known for his unwavering work ethic and dedication. In his spare time, Frank found joy on the family farm. He was particularly fond of tending to his beloved asparagus, which blossomed under his attentive care. Frank also cherished the moments spent with friends over a cup of coffee at local McDonald's in Georgetown and Bridgeville. These gatherings were a testament to his warm spirit and kindness.
He is survived by two sisters: Barbara Hrupsa and her husband Thomas and Ruth Hrupsa all of Felton; a sister-in-law Susan Webb of Greenwood; five nieces and nephews: Ray F. Webb and his wife Kimberly of Greenwood, Angela Taylor of Greenwood, Susan Welch and her husband Timmy of Harrington, Yvonne Yoder and her husband Larry of Hartley and Wendy Sherwood and her husband David of Felton; seven great nieces and nephews: Rance Webb, Taryn Taylor, Matthew Taylor, Zachery Welch, Ryan Yoder, Courtney Simon (Jimmy) and Braxton Sherwood.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Ray W. Webb and a niece Constance Ivins.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026 at 11:00 at the Framptom Funeral Home - Fleischauer Chapel in Greenwood. Interment will follow at St. Johnstown Cemetery in Greenwood. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00.
