Franklin Columbus Conway, III's Obituary
Franklin Columbus Conway, III passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at his home in Cambridge, MD. He was 67.
He was born on August 13, 1953 in Cambridge, MD, the son of the late Franklin Columbus Conway, II and Flossie Marie Newcomb Conway.
He attended public schools in Dorchester County, MD and graduated from North Dorchester High School with the class of 1971.
Franklin was better known by his family and friends as "Tex" and "Jin". He enjoyed shooting pool and dancing and his favorite food was macaroni and cheese.
He is survived by four brothers, Carroll Conway of Hurlock, MD, Reginald Conway (Brenda) of Laurel, DE, Thomas Newcomb (Elizabeth) of Seaford, DE, and Ronald Conway (Loraine) of South Toms River, NJ, four sisters, Margaret Newcomb, Debbie Dobson, Alyce Berdaux of Hurlock, MD, and Cherylon Conway of Cambridge, MD, one aunt, Amanda Conway of Hurlock, MD, two uncles, Joseph Newcomb and Henry Thomas both of Hurlock, MD, two special friends, Melanie Sterling and Gregory Conway, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Leroy Newcomb, Keith Conway, Vaughn Conway and Kendall Conway and a sister Cynthia Conway.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 1pm at Greater Full Gospel Church in Hurlock, MD with Bishop Charles T. Cephas Sr. officiating. A visitation will be held from 12-1pm prior to the start of the service. Interment will be held at Federal Hill Cemetery immediately following the service.
