Freda Murray's Obituary
Freda Butler Murray of Preston died at Easton Memorial Hospital on Monday, October 4, 2011. She was 85.
She was born on July 13, 1926 the daughter of the late Elbert R. and Lillie Adams Butler. Her husband, Thomas James Murray preceded her in death.
She enjoyed going to the Amish Market in Easton and the Auction Barn at American Corners.
She is survived by a daughter, Francine Briggs and her husband Kenneth of Denton, a granddaughter, Cleonda Thompson of Federalsburg, a great-granddaughter Dy’Asia Thompson, 2 brothers, Martin Butler of Preston and Kenneth Butler of Princess Anne, MD and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Ellsworth, Edward, Elbert and James Butler and two sisters, Marie Green and Mildred Butler.
Funeral services for her will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Framptom Funeral Home, P. A. in Federalsburg with Rev. William Briggs officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Preston. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 to 12:00.
