Gail Lynne Kiser's Obituary
Gail Lynne Kiser, 65 of Hurlock, MD, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at her home after struggling for many years with her health.
Gail was born November 16, 1957 in Baltimore, MD to the late Stonewall and Dorothy Kiser.
After high school, she went on to meet and marry her husband of 13 years, David A. Pilley, Sr. They had three children together: Shannon Brittain of Westminster, MD., Deborah Pilley (Brian Hobbs) of Hurlock, MD. and David Pilley, Jr. (Emily Pilley) of Reisterstown, MD.
After the divorce from her husband, Gail relocated to the Eastern Shore where she worked as a bartender and cook for Northwest Fork for many years. She was well known for not only her amazing cooking but her spunky, tough as nails attitude and wouldn't take crap from anyone. She was an avid pool player and played on an APA league for many years. Aside from her love for pool, she loved her Baltimore Ravens. But her biggest love all were her three children and eight grandchildren; Brianna Pilley (24), Raelyn Trent (18), Riley Dadds (17), Caleb Trent (12), Lilly Delionardl (10), Chloe Abbott (10), Cory Abbott (9), and Hadley Pilley (3 months).
Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her grandfather (Russell), grandmother (Ruth), sister Donna Carter, brother Stonewall "Jack" aka "Dinky", niece Rachelle, and nephew Johnny Wayne. She is survived by her long time companion Ray Franz of Hurlock, brother Gary Kiser of South Carolina, brother John Kiser, Sr. of Glen Burnie, sister Cookie Kiser of Pasadena, as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg, MD. on Wednesday March 29, 2023. A service to celebrate her life will immediately follow the viewing from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
