George Albert Nepert passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Tidal Health in Salisbury, MD. He was 77. He was born on August 30, 1943, the son of the late August Nepert and Gladys (Messick) Nepert. He graduated from University Read Obituary
George and I were in different India training groups with the Peace Corps. In late 1967 I was moved from Kerala to Bangalore involved in poultry nutrition. I lived with George for a week while housing was arranged for me. He was a very dedicated person and was involved with a number of charities for students in the Bangalore area. He will be missed.

George and I mate in 1971 - he was my first friend in this New World. He was like a big brother to me. I loved him and I will miss him.
George and I worked together on 3 south for 3 years. Not only was George an awesome nurse but he had a wonderful sense of humor. I truly enjoyed working with him. We had a lot of "interesting nights" on our shift. I am so sad to hear of his passing. He will truly be missed. My prayers go out to Brenda and the rest of his family.
I knew George only through e-mails but over the 7 years of emailing had developed a bond of friendship. I am so grateful to him for coordinating the FOI Lucky Dozen program. Heaven has a special place for beautiful souls like that of George. Happy trails till we meet again!

I only knew George through e-mail. We were both ex-Peace Corps volunteers, and George, as you might know, was the conceiver and administrator of the "Lucky Dozen" charity that funded poor children in southern India to attend school. His good work had generated around $400,000 since its inception in 2008. His was a life of giving to others. He will be sorely missed.
May he rest on peace. May God grant comfort to his family and all who loved him.
