George A. Smith's Obituary
George Albert Smith, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at his home. He was 71.
He was born on November 26, 1945 in Easton, the son of the late Lee Albert Smith and Blanche Towers Smith.
On June 5, 1964 he married Patsy Harold. He worked for Delmarva Power as a Construction Representative until his retirement. George enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycles, working on his antique truck, working in his yard, and especially spending time with his family.
He was a member of the Nanticoke Masonic Lodge #137 and the New Liberty Wesleyan Church.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Smith of Federalsburg, two daughters, Karen Kemp (Eric) of Federalsburg and Kelly Adams (Fred, Jr.) of Federalsburg, a daughter-in-law, Sandy Smith of Federalsburg, seven grandchildren, Erica Kemp, Caitlin Smith, Nolan Adams, Jessica Kemp, Chris Smith, Colby Adams, and Chloe Adams, and a great-grandson, Jaden Wolfe.
Besides his parents, he preceded in death by a son Kenneth Smith and a sister Sandy Phillips.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Framptom Funeral Home, PA in Federalsburg with Pastor Eddie Elms officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. A visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. and from 2-3p.m. on Wednesday.
