Georgena L Clagg's Obituary
Georgena L. Clagg of Seaford passed away at her home on Monday, December 19, 2016. She was 78.
She was born on June 26, 1938 in Mullins, WV, the daughter of the late Jess Blakenship and Louanna Green Blankenship.
She was married to Robert Clagg on July 13th, 1957. Together, they were missionaries for the Church of God in Trinidad, Tobago and Grenada, West Indies. She also served as a teacher of music in the Bible school. She taught kindergarten and was a published author. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by three sons, Kerry Clagg and his wife Bobbi of Seaford, Thomas Clagg and his wife Theresa of Seaford, James Clagg and his wife Karen of Lexington, SC, and a daughter, Gina Daigle of Seaford, 27 grandchildren, two sisters, Charlene Mustain of Richmond, VA, and Ruth Rhodes of Roanoke, VA.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ethel Minnick and Frita Barber and three brothers, William Blankenship, Mercen Blankenship and Albon Blankenship.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 1:00 at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Pastor Danny Moore and Pastor Bill Reed officiating. Burial will be prvate.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Framptom Funeral Home, 216 North Main Street, Federalsburg, MD 21632. In lieu of flowers, donations are accepted for expenses incurred.
