Gilbert Passwaters Sr.'s Obituary
Gilbert Passwaters, Sr. of Federalsburg passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury. He was 82.
He was born on January 27, 1935 in Cambridge, MD and was a son of the late Virgil Passwaters and Ruth Susan Cannon Passwaters. On January 31, 1954, he married the former Irene Williamson.
Gilbert was known as a professional musician, playing many shows during his lifetime. Some of his favorite past times besides playing music include boating and fishing. He also had a passion for animals, especially dogs.
He is survived by his wife, Irene Passwaters of Federalsburg; two sons Michael Passwaters and his wife Christine of Seaford and Gilbert Passwaters, Jr. and his wife Kelli of Denton; four grandsons Corey Passwaters, Chad Passwaters, Michael Passwaters, and Andrew Passwaters; two great grandchildren; two step-sisters Lisa Passwaters and Laura Passwaters, and one step-brother G. Thomas Keplinger.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg. Interment will be private. Family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
