Ginger Ann Farlow's Obituary
Ginger Ann Farlow went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital. She was 46.
She was born in Seaford, DE on May 19, 1966, and was preceded in death by her parents Beatrice Farlow and James Matthews.
Ginger was a resident of Atlantic Shores Nursing Home, in Millsboro, DE, and was active in the nursing home church ministry. She attended Delmar Jr.-Sr. High School and was previously employed at Hudson Foods, Berlin, MD, Friendly’s Restaurant and McDonald’s both in Seaford, DE. Ginger was a soft spoken and mild mannered with a stubborn streak that made her stick to her convictions no matter what. She loved music, playing games, and her family, especially her grandchildren.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Shawntaya Farlow of Wilmington, DE; Tara Farlow and Tierra Farlow both of Salisbury, MD; Timothy Horsey and Vaughn Jolley, Jr. both of Delmar, DE. Siblings, Trudy Hammond of Delmar, MD; Angela Young (Gregory), of Hebron, MD; Valerie Sanchez, of Wilmington, DE; Ursula Farlow of Sailsbury, MD. She leaves 11 grandchildren, and aunts, Clara Hunt, Mattie Farlow and Bernice Walters all of Laurel, DE, and Violet Brown (Robert) of Seaford, DE, and an uncle Ricky Matthews (Teresa) of Seaford, DE. She was preceded in death by aunts, Lottie Farlow and Helen Williams and her grandparents, Clara and Daniel Farlow and Nettie Grove and Johnny Clayton.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 21, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Refuge Temple in Seaford, DE, with Pastor Emmanuel Johnson officiating. Friends may call at the church from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Laurel, DE. Memorial contributions can be made to Framptom Funeral Home, 216 N. Main Street, Federalsburg, MD 21632 to defray funeral costs.
