G. June Gehring's Obituary
Gloria June Cox Gehring, 79, of Harmony, died Thursday, March 21, 2024 at Compass Regional Hospice in Centreville, MD.
Born June 3, 1944 in Easton, MD she was the daughter of the late Howard Leon Cox and Evelyn Marie Todd Cox.
June was a 1962 graduate of Colonel Richardson High School. After graduation, she attended business school and worked as a secretary for Service Trucking in Federalsburg, MD. In March of 1966 she married her long time love, Ronald Colin Gehring, at Harmony United Methodist Church.
June was a lifetime member of Harmony Church, where she played the organ, piano, bells, and served as the church secretary for many years.
She is survived by her two children Craig Gehring (Iris) and Dawn Swann (Judd). In addition, four grandchildren, Cody Swann (Gabby Weissburg), Devin Swann Fisher (Chas), Luke Gehring and Madison Gehring.
Services will be held at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg, MD on March 25, 2024 at 11AM. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00. Burial will follow at Hill Crest Cemetery in Federalsburg.
