Gladys D. Auld's Obituary
Gladys Donovan Bradley-Auld, of Cambridge passed on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at her daughter’s residence. She was 88.
She was born January 8, 1928, a daughter of the late Elwood Donovan and Daisy Handy Donovan.
She was employed at the sewing factory in Seaford and later as an assembly worker for Perdue. Gladys enjoyed crocheting, sewing and baking. She attended New Liberty Wesleyan Church in Federalsburg.
She is survived by her children, William "Bill" Bradley and his wife Mary of Rhodesdale, Gloria Cyr of Cambridge and David Lynn Bradley of Seaford; 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren, one brother Bobby Donovan of Atlanta, DE, and two sisters Jane Joseph of Bridgeville and Darlene Beauchamp of Federalsburg; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers Toby Donovan, Melvin Donovan and Sewell Donovan,a sister Katherine Burklew, and a grandson William Daniel Bradley.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home with the Reverend Eddie Elms officiating. Interment will follow at Bridgeville Cemetery in Bridgeville. Family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
