Gladys Jones Montague's Obituary
Gladys Jones Montague of Preston died at Easton Memorial Hospital on Thursday, January 2, 2014. She was 98.
She was born February 3, 1915 in Baltimore, MD the daughter of the late Rubin Edward Jones and Nellie E. Snouffer Jones. Her husband, Harry Lewis Montague preceded her in death in 1983. She was a graduate of Preston High School Class of 1932. She worked for McCord Laundry in Easton for many years. She is survived by nephews, Joseph Jones, Fred Stratton and John Stratton and a good friend Ethel Engle of Preston. Funeral services for her will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday January 4, 2014 at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Rev. Glen Staehli officiating. Interment will follow in Junior Order Cemetery in Preston. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 12 – 1:00. The family has requested that donations be made in her memory to Care and Compassion - Immanuel Lutheran Church P. O. Box 39 Preston, MD 21655.
