Goldie Mae Tyler of Federalsburg passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2011 t Envoy Health of Denton. She was 76 years old.
She was born on December 24, 1934 near Finchville, Dorchester County, Maryland the daughter of the late Ernest Quailes and Anna Geneva Collins Quailes.
She was the wife of the late Eddie R. Tyler, II who died on November 15, 1975. She was employed by the Wright family in Federalsburg. She liked television, old music and talking with her friends and family. She also loved to cook for her family.
She is survived by two children, Joyce Quailes Johnson of Federalsburg and Eddie Tyler, III of Douglasville, GA, two grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren, four sisters, Martha Kellum of Federalsburg, JoAnne Greene (Tommy) of Dover, DE, Shirley Robinson of Wilmington, DE Cornelia Savage of Seaford, DE, a host of nieces and nephews, two sisters-in-law, Ida Mae Tyler and Virginia Williams, two brothers-in-law, Charles Tyler and William Baynard, two good friends, Dorothy Ross and Mildred Fletcher and many friends she made at Envoy of Denton, especially her nurse, Sue.
She was preceded in death by a son, Willie Clifford Fielders and seven siblings: Charles Qualies, John Henry Quailes, Ernest Quailes, Jr Rosalee Quailes, Dianne Kelsey, Claire Quailes and Mildred Quailes.
