Grace Anne Lemaire's Obituary
Grace-Anne Lemaire, 59, of Claiborne, Maryland, passed away suddenly on January 20, 2025. Born on February 1, 1965, in Saint James, New York, she was the beloved daughter of Joseph Oteri and Angelina Soter Oteri (both predeceased) and sister to Rosanne Brioso (Michael) of Hawaii and Lee-Anne Oteri (predeceased).
Grace graduated from Newfield High School in 1983, then went on to build a life full of love, learning, and dedication. She raised two wonderful children, Robert Joseph Lemaire (born 1994) and Barbara-Leeanne Lemaire (born 1995), with the support of their father, Robert Lemaire. In 2001, Grace relocated to Maryland, where she eventually pursued her passion for education and graduated with honors from Chesapeake College in 2017 with an Associate degree in Business Management. During her time at Chesapeake, she earned a place on the Dean's List seven times, showcasing her commitment to excellence.
Grace was predeceased by her best friend, Stephanie Eireman, and many family members who were dear to her heart. She is survived by her loving fiancée, William Dickey, and her siblings Rosanne Brioso (Michael) of Hawaii and Joseph Oteri (Fallon) of Missouri. Grace also leaves behind her children, Robert, Barbara, and Travis (Erin), along with five cherished grandchildren: Elisa, James, and Joseph (Barbara), and Everyly and Greyson (Travis). She will also be fondly remembered by her beloved fur babies, Bella Bocephus and Layla.
Grace's life was marked by her generosity, warmth, and dedication to those she loved. Whether it was as a devoted mother, a caring sister, or a loyal friend, she touched many lives with her kindness and strength. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A memorial service to honor Grace's life will be held on March 8, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Claiborne Village Hall. The family invites all who knew her to join in celebrating her remarkable life.
