Gregory Lankford's Obituary
Gregory Michael Lloyd Lankford passed away on Tuesday, 22, 2014 in Denton. He was 19 years old.
He was born on July 25, 1994, in Jacksonville, N.C., the son of Bryan Lankford of Federalsburg and Robin Day Fisher of Jacksonville, FL.
Gregory had worked for McDonalds in Denton, Lankford Trucking, Inc. and Yes Community. He attended Calvary Baptist Church in Denton. He enjoyed going hunting, fishing, going four wheeling, riding his motorcycle and loved the outdoors. Greg loved life and was not afraid of anything, and truly lived “life open” always with a smile on his face.
He is survived by his father, Bryan Lankford, his mother, Robin Fisher and her husband Chris of Jacksonville, FL, nine siblings, Christopher Lankford, Kimberly Lankford, Andrew DuChene, Samantha Lankford, Kimberly Quathamer, Christopher Stichberry, Ryan Bodilly, Shelby Taylor, Tristen Blake, his girlfriend, Courtney Enos, his paternal grandmother, Virginia Lankford of Federalsburg, and his maternal grandmother, Barbara Martin of Oceanside, CA, and a close friend who he considered a mother, Nikki Hill. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Michael Lankford.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Pastor Travis Lankford officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday. Memorial contributions can be made to Framptom Funeral Home, 216 North Main Street, Federalsburg, MD 21632 to defray funeral costs.
