H. Kenneth Cooper's Obituary
H. Kenneth Cooper Bozman, H. Kenneth Cooper of Bozman, MD., passed away at Envoy of Denton on Tuesday, March 24, 2015. He was 92 years old. Mr. Cooper was born on January 12, 1923. He was the son of John W. and Rosie Jones Cooper. On December 8, 1945 he married Kathleen Cummings and they made their home in Bozman. Mr. Cooper worked as a waterman for several years. He also worked as a grounds keeper at Aspen Cove for 54 years. He was known in the area for model boats that he built. He started this hobby in his early twenties continuing until he was ninety years old. He is survived by his wife of sixty nine years Kathleen, and their daughter Jane Mason (John) ; two grandchildren Christa L. Mason of Fredericksburg, Va. and Kenneth A. Mason (Jennifer) of Harrington DE; two great granddaughters, Kayla R. Mason and Cassidy M. Mason also of Harrington DE. and one brother Wm. Gary Cooper(Jean) of Easton MD. In addition to his parents, Mr. Cooper was preceded in death by four brothers; John P. Cooper, George O. Cooper, Thursby F. Cooper and James A. Cooper. There will be a viewing at The Ostrowski Funeral Home on Friday March 27, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday March 28, 2015 at 2:00pm at Bozman United Methodist Church. Interment will be at the Bozman Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers will be, Kenneth A. Mason, Christa L. Mason, James Seek, William H. Brandow, Earl Hughes, Steve Cooper and Michael Haddaway. Honorary Pallbearers are, Edwin McQuay and Alvin Richardson. Memorial donations may be made to the Bozman U.M.C. or to the Bozman Cemetery, P.O. Box 34 Bozman, MD. 21612.
