I wanted to send condolences to the family. I knew HG since grade school. We were set alphabetically at that time, and he was G and I was J. I sat right behind him. HG and I talked all the time to the teacher's distress. We are also related through Sherry who is my first Cousin. Her Mom, our Aunt Esther (My mom's younger sister. So, even though over the years and in life we were not in direct contact, I consider him family and my heart goes out to each of you. I remember him so fondly from our school days and how much we talked about all kinds of things, farm life, animals, nature, etc. I thought he was very smart and funny too. I remember the first time I met HG. He and Connie were in a store as Jay and I were leaving. We sat in the store lobby getting to know each other. I was so happy for Connie that she had found someone to love and who loved her. RIP HG and fly high with that new body. Lois and Jay Kramer Cahall
