Harold Mace Kraegenbrink's Obituary
Harold Mace Kraegenbrink passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at his home in Preston. He was 63.
He was born on January 25, 1951 in Cambridge, Maryland the son of the late Edward Wright and Ruth Kraegenbrink Wright of Preston.
He grew up in Easton, and attended Talbot County Schools. He started working for Norris Taylor in Easton when he was 13 and learned to operate bull dozers and heavy equipment. Later he worked for Waste Management and Maryland Environmental Services. Harold was a member of the Easton Moose Lodge and the Local Union #37. He loved to tinker in the garage working on cars and equipment. He was always close to his loyal dogs, Bear, Max & Daisy.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Walls Kraegenbrink of Preston, two daughters, Nicole Gondeck and her husband, Jason of Preston, and Heidi Plutschak and her husband Troy of Preston, six grandchildren; Colton Kraegenbrink, Camron Gondeck, Koby Gondeck, Avery Plutschak, Heather Kraegenbrink and Amanda Barcia; one great grandchild; four nephews; Donnie Wright and David Wright both of Preston, Ray Moore of TN and Brian Kimmey of East New Market; five siblings, Sharon George of Preston, Barbara Lewis of Madison, Russell Moore of Rhodesdale, Dorothy “Peaches” Makas of Chestertown and Martha Jubb of Federalsburg.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Perez, and a brother, Bill Moore.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 17, 2014 at 11:00 at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with the Reverend Denzil T. Cheek officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 16, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Burial will be private.
